School Spirit Favors

The May/June months for me tend to be as busy a time of year as the November/December holiday season.  Between graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, anniversaries, & SIX birthdays within my family & friends, I am wrapping gifts & celebrating something every weekend!

Today I am sharing party favors that I created for my cousin’s college graduation from Campbell University.  As you can see, their “Fighting Camels” mascot & orange & black school colors were the inspiration for the design.  I used popcorn boxes (b/c the tops resembled camel humps) & added a chalkboard sticker with layers of washi & ribbon tape cut to the same shape as the chalkboard.  The hanging silver camel charms added some bling to pop against the bold colors & patterns!

One of the treats I included inside the favors boxes were these camel magnets. They are handmade by the 123fish shop on Etsy – the artist actually photographed the camel in person during her travels to Morocco!

Instead of my usual individual cupcake topper flags, I made cake bunting.

From left to right, these yummy cupcakes are Candy Bar Crunch, Wedding Cake, & White Midnight Magic from Gigi’s.  I chose these to match the color scheme, but they were also a great variety of flavors for a group!

Have a wonderful last week of May!

♥ Rebecca
